Roperfree Joins Social Venture Zone at Ryerson University in Canada

By Roperfree

Roperfree has become a member of Social Innovation Venture under Ryerson University today on Friday 6, 2020 during our first meeting at Caffeinated Innovators which takes place every Friday. Roperfree was given an opportunity to give a presentation to members of Social Venture Zone.

The invitation was initiated by Sarah Brigel the Operations Coordinator of Social Venture Zone after recommendation from Ann Sotnykova the Executive Operations & Communications Coordinator Office of the Vice- President, Research & Innovation, Ryerson University

Ryerson University has played a crucial role in mentoring me and how I could do well in Roperfree social ventures. During my lunch breaks I run up and down to meet different mentors for new fresh ideas which could be implemented every now and then so that Roperfree could achieve its goals and objectives

The Social Venture Zone is the home of social innovators at Canada’s most entrepreneurial university. Work with students, alumni, faculty and people from broader community to build social ventures that create real impact to make this world a better place to live in.
Roperfree is a good fit because it’s providing a solution to fight against malaria by closing the missing gap due to reasons that the mosquito bed nets are not sufficient enough and can only be used during the night sleep whereas Roperfee mosquito repellent oils can provide protection from mosquito bites 24/7, 365 days!
The Social venture Zone model is based on rigorous research and global best practices about how social ventures can be best supported.

The Social Venture Zone, work with innovators to develop their ventures, supporting them with coaching, training, work space and funding opportunities – all delivered in a growing community that is passionate about making change happen.
Roperfree is a game changer in the way how malaria is being fought in Uganda and the Sub-Saharan Africa. We aren’t only fighting malaria and rheumatism using our own innovated essential oils but we are building a formidable Roperfree brand with good manufacturing practice and creating a good working environment for all staff members.

Roperfree involves women in our company set up and we try not to use conscious or unconscious bias when selecting our staffs as we base on equal treatment with objectives such as; promoting human rights within the organization, preventing harassment , and discrimination, and defining principles and standards for behavior.

Roperfree’s commitment to providing an environment free of discrimination and harassment, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity because we know that when staffs are happy with the company’s good policy of human rights they perform better and business performs better too. “It is a win, win strategy, and treat me good I will produce good results or treat me bad you will get bad results!”

“Are you touched and inspired what God is doing through my testimony of being delivered from lesbianism? Do you wish to support me and get the message of change and transformation to our young people in schools, colleges and institutions?

I have a partnership with a company called Roperfree. For every purchase you make a small percentage goes towards covering expenses for my ministry work

According to the ministry of health, malaria affects mostly pregnant mothers and children below the age of 5 years so Roperfree mosquito repellent has been a viable solution to pregnant mothers and therefore we wish all women a happy international day for them.
