Roperfree Joins Social Venture Zone at Ryerson University in Canada

Roperfree has become a member of Social Innovation Venture under Ryerson University today on Friday 6, 2020 during our first meeting at Caffeinated Innovators which takes place every Friday. Roperfree was given an opportunity to give a presentation to members of Social Venture Zone.
The invitation was initiated by Sarah Brigel the Operations Coordinator of Social Venture Zone after recommendation from Ann Sotnykova the Executive Operations & Communications Coordinator Office of the Vice- President, Research & Innovation, Ryerson University

Ryerson University has played a crucial role in mentoring me and how I could do well in Roperfree social ventures. During my lunch breaks I run up and down to meet different mentors for new fresh ideas which could be implemented every now and then so that Roperfree could achieve its goals and objectives


The Social Venture Zone is the home of social innovators at Canada’s most entrepreneurial university. Work with students, alumni, faculty and people from broader community to build social ventures that create real impact to make this world a better place to live in.
Roperfree is a good fit because it’s providing a solution to fight against malaria by closing the missing gap due to reasons that the mosquito bed nets are not sufficient enough and can only be used during the night sleep whereas Roperfee mosquito repellent oils can provide protection from mosquito bites 24/7, 365 days!

Roperfree's Vision to Reality

 By Roperfree   As we are approaching the holiday season, I take this opportunity to thank Roperfree crews and customers. Roperfree started in the garage of one of our co-founders, Percy, the owner of Roper Fashions .                  Percy one of the co-founders   It was scaled up and relocated to our new modernized premises in Lweza with all amenities suitable for the factory, managed by Mona Kawoya and co-founder too! Since then, Roperfree has been scaling up from producing mosquito repellents to aromatherapy oils, hand sanitizers, and currently hair dandruff oils , which are all natural organic products.  Roperfree started selling products in Canada after the aerobics Concert in April, and the breakthrough was attained after the Canadian National Exhibition .
