Uganda under Ministry of Health has confirmed cases in Masindi, crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever ( CCHF ) is a widespread disease caused by a tick-borne virus (Nairovirus) of the Bunyaviridae family. The CCHF virus causes severe viral haemorrhagic fever outbreaks and one person was confirmed dead but the situation is under control. The disease could be easily contained by use of Roperfree Mosquito/insect repellant is good for repelling ticks as to prevent transmission of the disease.
