Hope of Resilience & Roperfree in Sensitization Campaign in Flooded Kampala Slums to Rescue Domestic Abused Women & their Children

By Roperfree

Roperfree with Hope of Resilience made sensitization campaign today on Sunday December 15, 2019 in Kampala slums to the domestic abused women with their children.

Hope of Resilience has members in Uganda and abroad in countries such as; USA and Canada who have supported this campaign with Roperfree to distribute free mosquito repellent oils to the vulnerable groups, this came at the right time because of the increased cases of malaria in Kampala due to the heavy rains which have caused floods in many slum areas of Kampala leaving the vulnerable group to be a high risk target for malaria.

The sensitization campaign to the disadvantaged women group was initiated by lady called Marble based in USA who got in touch with Roperfree based in Canada & Uganda to send its ground crews to rescue its members from malaria which is rampant due to their dwelling conditions comprised with heavy rains causing floods, stagnant water and the breeding grounds for mosquitoes causing malaria.

Roperfree has been honored to be part of the sensitization campaign of today and would extend its gratitude to Ms. Marble & Kabalisa for their support  in monetary terms so that each member of the vulnerable group gets resourceful information about malaria and free Roperfree mosquito repellent oils for their protection against malaria.

The vulnerable women group was so grateful for the event and many it was Xmas present come early while Roperfree played it's part as Santa.

The malaria sensitization campaign was headed by Monalisa one of the directors of Roperfree who made the occasion a success story by fulfilling the core principles of our organization in carrying out the corporate social responsibilities in this holiday season as to bring happiness and love to the most vulnerable group.
