All staffs of Roperfree use our aromatherapy oils including our families & friends and many of our loyal customers named it blessed oils because of the medicinal properties in them which provide healing to them to think as miraculous oils but the truth of the matter, aromatherapy oils have been used for many years ago even it was used to wash Jesus’ feet to provide sedative and relaxing properties to his feet further to that it was used as perfume, skin care for rough skin and deodorant in ancient days.

Aromatherapy! What is that? According to www.aroma.com, aromatherapy is the “use of plant oils, including essential oils for psychological and physical well being”. These essential oils are distilled from plant parts say the roots, stem, bark, leaves, flowers and others and are highly concentrated in their raw form.

On visiting an aroma therapist, you are asked about how you are feeling. Is it depression bothering you or unhappiness? Whatever it is, the essential oil that will be used to massage you will have to be one that will help cure whatever negative emotional state that you are ailing from. Essential oils are never used internally. They are rubbed into the body through a massage. Sometimes, these are inhaled through the nostrils if the ailment that is being treated is internal for instance for sinusitis, one has to inhale whatever oil that will cure that ailment.

The interesting thing about aromatherapy is that it does not use this one-medicine-works-for-all therapy. It recognizes that each individual responds best to different oil and so before one is treated, one is asked to inhale different types of oil and whichever is favored by them is what is used to treat them. It is assumed that the body is drawn to what works for it.
