The Missing American Tourist & His Tour Driver Have Been Rescued

The missing American lady Kimberly Sue Edicott & his tour guide safari driver have been rescued alive & unharmed near the border of Uganda and Congo.



 Following news of their disappearance on Tuesday, Ugandan security forces immediately launched a hunt for the gunmen, who in a Police statement were four.

At the time of the reported abduction, Kimberly and the driver were on an evening game drive inside Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda's most popular tourist destinations. It is located in the southwest of the country.


The kidnappers used the cell phone of the kidnapped to demand the ransomed of $500,000 for their release and the American government declined to give in to their demands because it is not a US policy as it would spur the same reactions.

Uganda has been putting up serious campaigns to boost tourism as we remember the visiting of Kim Kardashian & husband Kanye West, then Zari Hassan “The Boss Lady, the controversial Pageant dubbed “Miss Curve Uganda” and the message had started to yield fruits as Uganda witnessed the full board of Israeli tourists earlier this year in 2019 plus other tourists in the region who deemed Uganda to be one of the safest Sub-Saharan countries in the region, in regards to its peacefulness, gifted beauty by nature, rich culture, tropical paradise weather, delicious organic foods and hospitality.

Tourism plays a big role in Uganda’s economic growth however, the Ugandan government should think of placing the most esteemed elite army commandos in the strategic porous border positions to deter bandits from neighboring countries.

software which could be linked to GPS system to any tourists/visitors who happen to take Safari to any of the game parks in Uganda & all tour Safari trucks have to be monitored with GPS system and in case of danger or any other emergencies the driver can press an alarm which could trigger securities agencies to swing into action.
