Friecca Pharmacy Started Humbly When Owners Sought Business Mentorship.

By Roperfree

Friecca Pharmacy started humbly, with one of its owners, Freedah (Musawo), regularly purchasing cosmetics from Mr. Eriabu Kasumba’s shop, Kabale Busega Store, which was located at Plot 36, Kampala Road.

Freedah (Musawo) was very vibrant, happy, eager to learn, and determined to master the skills of business. The writer remembers how she used to come to Kabale Busega Store almost every Saturday. She did not come only to shop, but also to be mentored and motivated by Mr. Kasumba, the proprietor of Kabale Busega Stores Ltd.

Mr. Kasumba encouraged Musawo to remain committed to business and to work hard, assuring her that she would become successful. Today, Musawo speaks highly of Mr. Kasumba and credits his encouragement and mentorship for helping her build a successful and vibrant business.

Friecca Pharmacy, located in Wandegeya, has become one of the well-known pharmacies in Uganda. It is among the pharmacies known for opening early and closing late in order to serve the masses. The pharmacy is also well known for stocking a wide variety of medicines and drugs. If you fail to find a prescribed medicine at other pharmacies in Kampala, you can be assured that Friecca Pharmacy may have it.

As karma comes into play, Friecca Pharmacy is now one of the distributors of Roperfree Brand Products. It is also connected to its sister company, operating under the brand name Fame Pharmacies, which has several branches in and around Kampala.

This week, as we commemorate 17 years since Mr. Kasumba’s departure, his legacy and the seeds he planted continue to flourish and impact many people through entrepreneurship and mentorship.

Grab your Roperfree Brand Products from Friecca Pharmacy or from its sister pharmacies under the Fame Pharmacies brand.

Mr. Kasumba’s legacy lives on—not only through the businesses he built, but also through the people he mentored, encouraged, and inspired.
