Canada has been battling with snow storms this week  while thousands miles away in the Pearl of Africa it has been tropical paradise weather while celebrating BUBU Expo (Buy Uganda & Build Uganda) which is being held at Kololo s in conjunction with International  Women’s Day started March 7 to 9TH

BUBU Expo was opened by His Excellence the President of Uganda and accompanied & graced the occasion; Honorable Amelia Kyambade the Ministry of trade, Industry & Cooperative. BUBU Expo will end tomorrow whereas its free entrance as it is a public invent to give knowledge and learn about goods and services produced in Uganda while encouraging the citizens to buy their own home made goods to stimulate and support the economy.

The president toured some of the products at the exhibition such as; shoe makers which caught his attention when he came to know that the skin hides they use are being imported from China, this did not go down well with His Excellence and advised them to start to getting skin hides from Uganda as we have many animals such as; cows which could produce fine skin hides leather for shoes, further emphasized the manufacturers of baby syrup’s to buy sugar within the country instead of importing.
