 By Roperfree

Fighting malaria using organic all Natural Deet-free mosquito repellent oil ,the first of its kind in Uganda has given us a platform to be able to be reached out anywhere around the globe via our social media platforms so longer you have access to the Internet.

Uganda needed more effective lifesaving intervention tool which could be used anytime, chemical free or non toxic able to bridge the missing gaps left while using bed-nets.

Roperfree deals in various intervention tools apart from mosquito repellents for malaria, there are others such as; Aromatherapy oils for rheumatism and hand Sanitizers to stop and kill various viruses & bacteria which cause sicknesses.

We are not only offering products and services to fight various diseases but also offering malaria- hygiene resourceful information to cause awareness while providing free mosquito repellents to the most vulnerable groups during the sensitization campaigns.

Throughout our networks this year we managed to partner The National Malaria Control Program & Uganics of repellent soap during Uganda martyrs’ pilgrimage to fight malaria in Namugongo between 1st to 3rd June 2022 and of recent the Uganda Hotel Ownership Association who have been guiding us on how best to reach the target market in hotel & tourism industry to protect their the guests, tourists or other customers from mosquito bites and malaria transmission which has led to acquire new customers and inquiries.

After gathering information from market research and recommendations from UHOA we decided to add on another line of business which is more appealing, high quality, sustainable and environmentally-friendly packaging in bottles running hand in hand with the existing bottles to cater for different market segments in the hotel & tourism industry.

Roperfree like many other businesses once it started scaling up it met a lot of challenges while trying to meet customers’ expectations & demands, as at first we never thought about the market strategy in hotel and tourism industry to reach out the target audience but after we realized that the demand is available we developed a 15 ml travel bottle of mosquito repellent and aromatherapy oils, these are used as hotel toiletries and the customer do not pay for them. Hotel & tourism industry put health & safety measures as priority to protect their clients from mosquito transmitted diseases while proving excellent service. In Uganda mosquitoes could be quite nuisance because they bite, cause malaria & other mosquito transmitted diseases.

Currently, in the prevailing circumstances of recession, the business to survive in the ever changing trends you have to keep making adjustments to meet the customers’ needs and expectations to attract new customers and retain the existing ones.
