Many People Now Resorting to Herbal Medicines for Prevention & Treatment of Various Health Challenges

By Roperfree

The demand for Roperfree brand products have risen up due to reasons that they provide solutions and bridge the missing gaps. Since the rainy season started in September, 2022, the demand of mosquito repellents have risen tremendously up due to the rise of malaria cases in Uganda. Mosquito repellent prevent mosquito bites opposed to some public perception that it cures malaria. Roperfree Brand Products comprise of three main products namely; mosquito repellents, Aromatherapy Oils and Hand Sanitizers and since we started on 1st, January 2017 have 18 lines of production from one line this is because the use of herbal medicines and phytonutrients or nutraceuticals continues to expand rapidly across the world with many people now resorting to these products for treatment of various health challenges in different national healthcare settings according to (WHO, 2004).

Aromatherapy oil became our 2nd best of line of production and scoring high in transforming many people’s lives. During the second wave of the pandemic by the end of 2021 and earlier this year the demand started to surge while some people were using Aromatherapy Oil as alternative medicine to fight off their chest infections – Omicron whereas many people were searching for solutions to stop the 2nd wave of the pandemic and one member of Roperfree was also battling with omicron soon after last year’s Xmas, I decided to go against the rules and regulations of NDA who approved our products that they shouldn’t be digested and meant for external use only but I truly new that the Aromatherapy oil was 100 percent safe to be digested because the three main ingredients used are edible and safe to consumed though Roperfree doesn’t recommend anyone to go against the instruction provided on the bottle.

Roperfree Aromatherapy Oils are versatile with many benefits such as; massaging, relieving joint, muscle, body & back pains; removes skin blemishes, cause skin nourishment and of recent we received audio message from one of the vendors in Mega Supermarkets who fell down and injured her hips and she used Roperfree Aromatherapy oil as first aid and to her surprised she started healing and the pain ceased another client from Nateete had ongoing back pains and she was recommended to use Roperfree Aromatherapy oil and the results were miraculous.

Roperfree receives positive reviews & testimonials on daily basis via our social media platforms one of loyal customer, started buying Aromatherapy for her elderly parent to relive body pains a few years ago the medical bill went down! In Canada, Aromatherapy oils are gradually penetrating the market due to increased in demand for organic herbal medicinal products as alternative medicine to ease body aches & rheumatism while some use them as massage oil or for relieving winter skin rash.

What is winter skin rash? You might have a winter rash if your skin appears red, swollen, or flaky. It may it may itch or feel sensitive to the touch. Bumps or blisters may form in the affected area. A winter rash can develop on any part of your body, but your hands, arms, and legs are the most susceptible. The 3rd main of line production are hand sanitizers; Aloe Vera or Glycerin Moisturizers with 80% Alcohol based. During the pandemic the demand was high but currently it has subsided though we experienced some hick-ups due the current Ebola out breaks in some districts of Uganda.

This past decade has obviously witnessed a tremendous surge in acceptance and public interest in natural therapies both in developing and developed countries, with these herbal remedies being available not only in drug stores, but now also in food stores and supermarkets. It is estimated that up to four billion people (representing 80% of the world’s population) living in the developing world rely on herbal medicinal products as a primary source of healthcare and traditional medical practice which involves the use of herbs is viewed as an integral part of the culture in those communities.
