The Shea House (TSH) is a natural, organic cosmetics company established in 2015 and based in Kampala – Uganda. TSH manufactures and distributes high quality, natural and organic bath and beauty health products so the collaboration with Roperfree will  enhance organic health cosmetics products and create more job opportunities for women who are always predominantly working in Agriculture sector and cosmetics industry in Uganda.  

Our agenda is to further empower women in cosmetics and Agriculture industry to fight against poverty and create wealth in the communities and empowering women to live out their dreams and create wealth for themselves and the future generations through our companies

Uganda is an Agricultural country and mainly produce organic agriculture products and this give the country a competitive advantage in producing high quality organic foods, herbal medicine and cosmetics.

Dorah, who is the proprietor and founder of Shea House has a passion in producing natural cosmetics that nurture and rejuvenate the skin, and she is also passionate about empowering women through job creation in Northern Uganda.

Women play a vital role in Uganda's rural agriculture sector and contribute higher than average share crop labor in the region. Women make up more than half of Uganda's agricultural workforce and high proportion of women than men work in farming- 76 percent versus 62 percent.

Roperfree being a social enterprise is providing solution to fight against malaria, rheumatism and lately COVID-19 through sensitization/educational campaigns while providing essential tools to fight against such mentioned above diseases and empowering women by fighting against poverty with job creation and awareness campaigns to promote health well being in order to increase productivity and poverty eradication.


The partnership of Roperfree & Shea House will promote further, brand awareness, product visibility and easy access to reach our target audience and customers in Uganda & around the world.

C.J Walker The first Woman To become Millionaire in  the USA

Women are very important in transforming the society because they play a vital role and the first female entrepreneur in USA was C.J walker born December 23,1867-May 25, 1919, was African American entrepreneur, philanthropist, political and social activist, her parents were slaves and she did not go far in her education. According to the Guinness of World records she is recorded as the first female self made millionaire in American

1. Mona Kawoya Kasumba; - Co- founder & Manager at Roperfree, Empowering women  in the community to fight against malaria & offering free mosquito repellent oils to pregnant mothers and children below age of 5 years who are more vulnerable in getting malaria.

2. Barbara Mulwana - CEO at Nice House of Plastics a company her late father founded and owned and she is the chairperson of Uganda Manufacturers' Association, an industrial lobbying and advisory association that brings together 600 Uganda manufacturers and industries.

3. Rukhsan Karmali: CEO at Mukwano Enterprises Ltd  the company her late father founded and owned and employing more than 14,000 people and many of them are women.

4. Dr. Maggie Kigozi; Medical doctor, business consultant, educator & sportswoman a consultant at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

5. Dr. Emma Naluyima; Entrepreneur, veterinarian, urban farmer & elementary school educator and animal & crop instructor. 

5. Sarah Kiyingi Kaweesa; CEO at Bio Jigsaw Limited , was awarded as the best agribusiness investor of the year 2020 for the innovatiness behind her business. Sarah, based in UK & Uganda produces with her company organic products made from banana fibre, contributing to waste reduction and employment creation for banana farmers and women employed in the hair salon business

6. Professor Grace Nambatya Kyeyune: The Director for Natural Chemotherapeutic Research Institute; empowering and training in organic herbal medicinal production for self sustainability and creating employment for women 

7. Dorah Egunyu ; Founder & CEO at Shea House Organic Cosmetics, Empowering women in the Northern Uganda by proving employment and creating market for their organic produce

8. Joan Nalubega; Founder & CEO at Uganics, fights malaria using soap and partly mentored and inspired by Roperfree and initially she bought essential oils from us her mosquito repellent soap making and later on she organized local women in Mpingi and started growing mosquito repellent plants to produce essential oils for her business, created jobs and empowered women in the local communities.

9. Anne Rweyora K; Innovator & Managing Director  at Smart Havens Africa; provinding sustainable homes, geared towards making home ownership more accessible to African women, she train, support and fund women to attain decent home dwellings using ISSB's (Interlocking Soil Stabilized Brick Houses)

10. Pastor Jessica Kayanja; Founder of Girl Power Ministries, An organization that empowers women holistically.
