Algeria & Argentina Kick Out Malaria in "Historic Achievement"
By Roperfree
Almost half a million people die of malaria every year worldwide and most malaria deaths are in the Sub-Saharan Africa. According to Bill-Gates “disease will never get it to zero but science today should give us tools to solve a lot of big killers.”
Almost half a million people die of malaria every year worldwide and most malaria deaths are in the Sub-Saharan Africa. According to Bill-Gates “disease will never get it to zero but science today should give us tools to solve a lot of big killers.”
Good news!
Malaria has been eliminated from Algeria and Argentina according the
World Health Organization (WHO)
“Algeria has shown the rest of Africa that malaria
can be beaten through country leadership, bold action, sound investment and
science. The rest of the continent can learn from this experience” said Dr.
Matshidiso Moeti WHO’s regional director for Africa.
Algeria, where malaria parasite was discovered by
French physician Dr. Charles Louis Alphonse Laveran in 1880, is the only second
country to reach this milestone following Mauritius was declared as malaria
free in 1973. In order for a country to be certified as malaria-free it has to
prove that it has stopped in- country transmission of malaria for at least
three consecutive years.
I am not surprised to know that Algeria & Argentina are malaria
free countries when I put my analysis from what I am learning in malaria
eradication & leadership distance course from Harvard university, there are
many factors which have caused Algeria and Argentina to celebrate as malaria
free countries, such as; good infrastructure, communication, technological
advancement, free universal healthcare, structural buildings, weather, economy
of the country, political climate, people’s perception, good work ethics, well trained work force providing malaria diagnosis through universal
healthcare, monitoring & surveillance plus quick response to disease out
break
Malaria elimination is on high gear as Roperfree currently is covering wide areas in Uganda and penetrating Congo due to the rainy season many people have been using our Roperfree mosquito repellent oils to prevent malaria while the reviews have been so far awesome! Recently, Roperfree has received so many good reviews in regards to Roperfree Brand Products.
As new tools emerge to fight malaria in Africa, Fredros Okumu a Kenyan researcher based in Tanzania and his team wants to end malaria with a repellent chair since 2017, solution is to put repellents on objects that many people cannot live without. Chair, a secret weapon is a super absorbed repellent that lasts for six months. Very brilliant idea!
As where there is a problem there is always a solution and once you get that solution then you can start rolling in money as people would be paying to use your new innovation. Then I wonder why Fredros has not thought about making beds with absorbed fabrics which lasts for six month! I think maybe he could make a bed sticker band which could be wrapped in all sides of the bed to repel mosquitoes as to close the gaps of those who do not want to sleep in the mosquito nets.
Another word of wisdom, producing washing up repellent liquid soap which can be used both in laundry washing machine & hand washing so that the clothes could have that nice great scent to repel mosquitoes/insects
