As Roperfree is one of the leading major herbal
industries in Uganda, manufacturing medicinal herbs to fight malaria plus
rheumatism & skin diseases was
invited to be part of the sensitization
training in the line of NDA’s mandate of
encouragement and development of herbal medicine in Uganda which was held yesterday on Thursday January
17, 2019 at Eureka hotel in Ntinda.
Herbal Medicine Manufacturers' Seminar at Eureka Hotel
The occasion was presented by Professor Grace
Nambatya the Director of Research at Chemotherapeutics under Ministry of Health
and Michael Mutyaba working as Herbal Medicine Regulator under the National
Drug Authority , the objective of the event was to prepare and motivate the
certified herbal medicine manufacturers
to keep the high standards of Good manufacturing Practice (GMP) as to be
able to continuously produced high quality products in a good & safe
environment in order to compete fairly in the Global market.

The main objective of the seminar was to integrate
herbal medicine into conventional or foreign medicine so as it could be sold alongside
each other in pharmacies and able to be recommended as alternative medicine by
medical practitioners.
Roperfree is enjoying the benefits of such events
and it has become one of the highest quality manufactures of mosquito repellent and Aromatherapy which is
now being sold worldwide and striving to be the best natural organic herbal
medicine in the whole world under Roperfree Brand Products
Advancing herbal medicine to integrate with
convention medicine will greatly improve Uganda’s health and economic growth.
The effects of health on development are clear, as countries with weak health
and education conditions find it harder to achieve sustainable growth. Indeed,
economic evidence confirms that a 10% improvement in life expectancy at birth
is associated with a rise in economic growth.
Roperfree a social enterprise company is determined
to fight malaria, rheumatism and skin disorder while using its own herbal
organic medicinal essential oils under Roperfree Brand Products.

Diseases like malaria hinders Uganda’s performance
in economic growth as it lowers life expectance, discourage adult training and productivity
while it’s an obstacle for development of sectors like tourism industry which
brings in a lot of foreign exchange, this an evident received from Discover
Uganda earlier this week on twitter conversation who recommend us to contact the
Executive Director Uganda Hotel Owners Association, Ms Jean Byamugisha.
