Outgoing ED of Kampala Jennifer Musisi Battled Against Malaria in The City

Published by Roperfree

As the we are living in the dynamic World, across the globe in Kampala, have witnessed the official handover of Jennifer Musisi from KCCA today on December 14, 2018 which she has served for more than 7 and half years during her tenure as Executive Director of Kampala City Council Authority she has work hard for the city transformation and in regards to fighting malaria, she has done marvelous job in upgrading the KCCA medical facilities, encouraging free mosquito distribution bed nets and repellents, make trenches to stop stagnant waters and cover most of the pot holes where mosquito breed.

Most of the Sub-Saharan Africa countries have Anopheles mosquitoes which are active during nighttime, dawn and dusk that transmit malaria in humans. Because dusk comes between daytime and nighttime, mosquito activity across species tends to be highest during this time.

Malaria is still number one killer disease in the country and very costly to treat when someone put into considerations, loss of work-time or productivity- lost income, medical bill, transport and trauma of being sick.

As prevention is better than cure so it highly recommend for everyone to sleep in the mosquito net plus using repellent such as; Roperfree mosquito repellent.

Although mosquitoes likely can't be avoided, there are a few measures you can take to protect your family from mosquito bites
