Paying attention to your life which is always speaking to you and the real work is to figure out where your power base is, but always we should do the right thing and we have to be excellent, people notice us such as; potential customers,target audiences, friends and families. When building Roperfree we had to provide extra ordinary customer service from day one when it was opened by hiring best staffs such as managers headed by Percy Nyombi of Roper fashions, Mona; logistics, production workers and salespersons to be part of Roperfree.
At the beginning Roperfree had to work on basic principles of excellence and what we did had to be excellent with no excuse because our purpose was and still is to serve the people.
Roperfree’s theme of doing the right thing has paid off. At the beginning the team worked through thick and thin in the midst of the juggle, through challenges and obstacles in accordance to the vision of Roperfree’s founder. I have to admit that it was tough as I remember one of the staffs of Roperfree “Willis Kawoya Kasumba” during the initial stages of Roperfree told me that “ I appreciate the vision to fight against malaria via the proposed mosquito repellent essential oils you are dreaming about and how good it would be once the vision is accomplished but many members of Roperfree are so skeptical and couldn’t understand how we are going to accomplish the mission and he further said that the vision is very good because it’s about saving lives of people who are dying of malaria though he couldn’t see the vision becoming a reality”.

Many startup companies experience many challenges especially when it’s starting up new innovations: a product or service which weren't  in existence before, excellence showed up itself from the birth of Roperfree and excellent became our brand. Roperfree’s choice to do the right thing and being excellent in all ways built the brand it is standing on now and the impact of Roperfree Brand Products leaves the unforgettable memories which cause repetitive business & loyal customers. 

 

But when you are excellent you become unforgettable. Customers remember Roperfree and that’s why we stand out! A business shouldn’t be build solemnly on making money only but to solve people’s problems so that it could make a huge positive impact it should be “a win- win situation” serve the purpose so that everyone gains, the business & the end users or customers. When you do the right thing even if nobody notices the right thing will always follow you back! We all want to be unforgettable not the forgettable & the third law of motion is always at work for every action there’s always as action of the opposition reaction.

So many entrepreneurs are focused on scaling and rushing to become big but Roperfree is scaling gradually whereas doing the right thing by producing and providing our products in excellent mode. We are more focused on building the formidable brand than making money because always money comes when people notices that your products & services are good, effective and genuine to solve their problems with maximum expectations. So doing the right thing is always the right thing to do! Roperfree discovered the role to become a winner is to breath in toxic around us and breath out positive vibes such as; believe in, confidence and purpose of fulfillment in life and make a positive impact to many lives especially those who are vulnerable in getting malaria, rheumatism and COVID-19. Character is to do what is right. If you do the right thing represents the character regardless what the consequences are. How do you build character? Roperfree never let failures to define us but always treated as learning curves to achieve the greatest heights.

Roperfree knew that the journey will always be with full of challenges and we were able to embrace them and move forward to achieve 18 different line of productions including varieties/ specifications of Mosquito Repellents, Aromatherapy and Hand Sanitizers from single specification, line of production in 2017 able set up a real modern factory building at Lweza from Percy’s garage in Makidye, currently with over 20 distributors; pharmacies, supermarkets, outlets with e-commerce platforms such as : www.roperfree.com and Jumia from one single store on Kampala Road at Kampala Plaza in 2017. At the moment Roperfree is working on the project formulation of Aloe Vera hair growths which is on prototype testing the last few months. Watch the space! For the next blockbuster in hair growths which will take “Wakanda” by surprise!
